A Christmas Poem | Day 1

twelve days of vegan Christmas the adverts are on telly it’s that time of year to be merry and excited because christmas is here so he puts up the tree and all the decorations they get in the mood for the festive celebration the local shopping center has father Christmas there you can mingle and be merry at the local Christmas fair the weather is chilly but you really don’t mind because in that cold air it’s Christmas cheer that you’ll find the day is getting closer and closer what’s more you have the joyful chorus of carol singers at your door and such excitement at home as you start to see the first presence emerging underneath the Christmas tree your daily soundtrack are the poems Wizard and Slade and at home lots and lots of mince pies are being made but favourite Christmas meals are coming on the TV and you start to receive Christmas cards from family you write letters for Santa and send them away you defrost the turkey to prepare for the big day the excitement builds as it is Christmas Eve so for father Christmas milk and cookies you live then it’s finally here a day full of Glee you wake and there are so many presents under the tree the turkey is cooking the stockings are filled as far as days go you couldn’t be more thrilled you open the presents so many great gifts what an amazing start as the day slowly drifts into afternoon and that long-awaited Christmas dinner turkey and pigs in blankets they’re always a winner this is the best day ever the perfect festivity there’s so much joy so much great positivity there’s nothing at all bad or nothing I detected until I woke up one day and carefully reflected when you go vegan you then realize how sad is this celebration of Christmas that we all had it was centered around death suffering and greed is this the tradition that we all need a tradition in which many innocent are killed is this the main reason why we all feel so thrilled thousands of turkeys massacred every year and we have the cheap to talk about Christmas cheer we celebrate with the suffering of another innocent being it’s our centerpiece so how is it there’s this death we’re not seeing and those pigs in blankets such a positive name to cover up the reality and protect all our shame if these are the elements of merry than were sadly deluded as a true merry Christmas can only be when this death is excluded a Christmas where our conscious is haven’t been sedated a Christmas where life is truly celebrated you only did it this way before cause everyone else did you ignored your own nature that’s been there since you were a kid but now you finally embrace your nature and it feels so good that you’re finally experienced in these days you should you embrace not contributing to death with such pure elation you celebrate the relief of your minds liberation you’ve discovered what the celebration of Christmas is really for as your feelings of positivity far outweigh those before there’s no guilt no anxieties scratching at the back of your mind because with no dead animal to prepare for dinner you now find that you were kidding yourself if you thought it was okay to be merry contributed to death every Christmas day and now you celebrate proudly was a compassionate choice that you’ve made and on that table a delicious dinner of life is laid with foods of pure love as the turkey has been set free and pigs in blankets are real but only at the animal sanctuary there are smiles hugs and laughter but each much bigger this time if you’ve taken that Christmas failure to a new level and feel sublime there are crackers and drinks and presents galore and as far as days go you definitely couldn’t want more there’s no more contributed to death suffering or pain and nothing has been lost it has only been gained so celebrate of compassion er forget what’s considered the norm and have a Merry Christmas but in its purest form you

  8. Awesome video man! This will be my first Christmas as a vegan, and I couldn't be more excited about that! Instead of binging on dead animal and their juices, I will destroy epic proportions of vegan junk food, on top of some awesome vegan free foods that we will experiment with. Then, I will smash myself in the biggest, compound lifts in order to put all that energy to work for me! Thanks again.

  25. I'll drink to that this Christmas! Our traditions used to be Ham for Christmas and it was never the centerpiece for me – ever – I won't miss it one single bit! It's the decorating, sharing memories w my family, snuggling up with a hot chocolate – I'm good. Very good for this Christmas!

  26. This is really sad because turkeys and pigs and chickens die just for us to live one animals life is WASTED on ours

  27. That has inspired me to go vegetarian I really wanna go vegan but I am not ready but one day I will when I have my own house and when I buy the food my mother how about you just eat fish but I don’t like fish to eat and I think they deserve a life as well as other animals but I will do it slow because I am still young and don’t really understand but I am getting to the age where I do a little so I will stop all the meat that’s not my absolute favourite then deal this the rest and one say I will have soya milk and no eggs and all animals will be happy and I also adopt more animals to help the ones in need thank you for inspiring me no more turkey for me EVER again thanks πŸ™ I appreciate it
