April 2016’s Rhyme of the Month: “The Frog”

Welcome to the Enoch Pratt Free Library State Library Resource Center’s Handy Dandy Rhymes. The rhyme of the month is “The Frog” “Croak!” said the frog with his golden eyes. Sitting on a lily pad, catching flies. [sticks out tongue] I have a sticky tongue, it’s fast as can be. I can catch mosquitoes: one, two, three. [sticks out tongue] Now you don’t need a lily pad or a frog. We can do it with just our hands. “Ribbit!” said the frog with his golden eyes. Sitting on a lily pad, catching flies. I have a sticky tongue, it’s fast as can be. I can catch mosquitoes: one, two, three. [sticks out tongue] Thank you.
