  1. I think it's pretty inevitable that we see Nick on the wall at some season finale. It would be devastating. At the same time, I'd kind of rather see June end up with Nick, as opposed to her husband. They no longer share the same bond… That could make for a great end-of-show. To have June finally make it out with her daughter, along with Nick….and then to have to tell her husband she's choosing Nick…

  2. Omg, I love this show but I am so sick of people trying to say that "Trumps America" is like Gilead. If it was these women wouldn't be covered up from head to toe, not allowed to have rights or speak and in many cases running the show since nobody pays attention to the fact that Trump has ALOT of females running shit in his business and even in his administration, they just ignore it. You could compare this to Iran, Egypt, Syria, many places where islamic laws are in place, they are more Gilead like than we are and we are not headed to there simply because the tides and support in the US is beginning to turn against the abortion movement. The 1 "good" thing about Gilead or anywhere outside of Gilead is, the birth rates are so low that for the 1st time in a half century, the life of the unborn is cherished by all, no matter how it came to be. We are a spoiled generation to be saying this show is "relevant" to current times. We don't know the real suffering women who are not in the west suffer through, we just pretend we do.

  3. So true this show is hard to binge watch. At times this show gave me anxiety and I had to take a break. It’s so phenomenally written and acted that it’s terrifying because I could see this happening.

  4. The scary thing about this show is that it can happen. Infact, a lot of it is going on in Islamic countries with Sharia Law. Women there have very little rights. They can't wear what they want, they can't drive, they can't go anywhere without their husband's permission and what not.

  5. I wasnt able to binge because I was watching from the very beginning so i only got an episode once a week. It's hard to say if i would or wouldn't have been able to binge watch. But I think i would have. Of course it was disturbing and heartbreaking but more than anything it got me thinking. I always was desperate for the next episode because I wanted to learn more. I wanted to really understand the depth of the political atmosphere of this show and how it relates to realities all over the world today.

  6. The first time I watched it I couldn’t binge it but now I’m okay 😂

  7. You gotta admit, The Handmaid's Tale definitely gives people that sense of uncomfortable dread when this show comes on. I mean, it's awful seeing women getting this kind of treatment. I'd hate to imagine what Gilead does to people who are autistic or mentally disabled.

  8. I'm so glad I watched this 7 minutes and twenty seconds! Season 3 just started and I have become SO obsessed I started hating some of the actors IRL and others have been in my prayers before bed…praying for strength for the resistance! SMH! CTFU! I think I have a problem! But ol well' PRAISE BE!

  9. Finished season 1 in a day.. Last week and just finished s2! Can't wait for S3!!!

  10. Did she say offred Isn’t getting killed anytime soon it better never happen PERIOD.

  11. Elisabeth Moss is amazing in this. Her intensity and diversity of expressions and emotions that she taps into when communicating the many crazy experiences of her character is astonishing to watch.

  12. Islam reminds me of this show, there are a lot of women right now in the middle east living this very life

  13. One of my favourite shows. However its scary knowing that this is very possible now more than ever.

  14. wtf? i came here to see some in depth stuff and had to listen to this islamaphobic narrator. the whole point of the handmaids tale is that they are deriving their laws directly from the bible: old testament and new. religion and religious laws followed strictly and indiscriminately will always end up infringing on freedoms. so for him to point out islam when this show literally kills anyone who isn’t christian (there are several episodes where they kill jews, muslim’s and catholics) is unnecessarily being divisive.

  15. It was definitely hard and heartbreaking to watch at first but after i got passed all the shock, I couldn't stop watching. I finished the show in a few days and and I'm so excited for Season 3 coming next month

  16. It’s not impossible to binge watch, I’ve watched the 2 seasons in 2 days. Yes, 2 days. I couldn’t stop

  17. I binge watched it all at work over the course of a week… And even tho i looked forward to watching the episodes sometimes i found myself stalling to watch them bc it IS so INTENSE i actually basically cried 3x watching season 1.. Silent Cried at my desk at work.. LMAO!

  18. Was anyome else freaked out when he said his name fox nes and then "under his eye" like um no. Dot say that shit to me. Its creepy 😂😂

  19. An amazing story but this iis the WAY THE DEMOCRATS WOULD MAKE THE WORLD!!!!!! THEY EMBRACE ISLAM AND SHARIA LAW ALL THE WAY. THE WAY THE BIBLE SPOKE OF SUCH HORRIBLE THINGS WAS 2000 YEARS AGO BUT ISLAM IS THAT TODAY!!!!! LAST TIME I CHECKED TODAYS CHRISTIANS DON'T RAPE THEIR WOMEN AND CHILDREN EXCEPT SICK PERVERTED CATHOLIC PRIESTS, THROW GAYS OFF OF BUILDINGS, ENSLAVE AFRICANS, SEX TRAFFIC WOMEN, MAKE WOMEN COVER UP AND BEAT THEM, KILL AND TORTURE DOGS, AND, CUT OFF WOMANS GENITALIA OFF AND BEAT THEM……BUT ISLAM DOES!!!!! BUT THEY REPLACED ALLAH WITH GOD THINKING WE ARE THAT NIEVE. TYPICAL DEMOCRATIC DEVILS FLIPPING THE SCRPTS AND BLAME OTHERS FOR WHAT THEY ACTUALLY WOULD DO. THEY PROTECT ISLAM BECAUSE HOLLYWOOD IS FILLED WITH SATANISTS WHO WANT TO DEMONIZE CHRISTIAN'S AND EVENTUALLY EXTERMINATE THEM AND THEY ALIGN WITH AND WILL USE ISLAM TO DO THEIR EVIL GENOCIDE. THEY LIE ABOUT WHITE PEOPLE AND CHRISTIANS JUST LIKE THE NAZIS, WHO THEY REALLY ARE THEM OF TODAY. THEIR PLAN IS FIRST DEMONIZE THEIR ENEMIES THEN EXTERMINATE THEN TOTALLY EVIL DEVIL WORSHIPERS MAKING UP DISGRACEFUL FABRICATED LIES LIKE THE RADICAL LEFT ALWAYS DO.

  20. Only thing I would have a problem with is the Canada Goose jackets inbetween takes. pleaaaaase find an alternative!! :/

  21. We dodged a bullet with the election of Trump…MAGA 2020……We almost had a witch in the white house….

  22. I love this show so much just finished it !!! I read the book my senior year in high school it’s amazing!! Imagine if this was our world

  23. Dystopian fantasy for western bourgies, daily reality for millions of women on earth to this day. We still have child brides IN THIS COUNTRY. And in many places girls are still traded as brides in exchange for goats, rice, and cooking oil. What happened to Emily as punishment for "gender treachery," is enacted on millions of girls currently for no other reason than because they are girls living in a misogynistic society. Look up "female genital mutilation."

The scene in which she reads the letters? Those letters could have been written today, in Saudi Arabia, Somalia, India, and elsewhere. It's a horror show to see this happen to bourgie western women, but the world keeps looking away from such atrocities committed against women and girls in the developing world.

  24. I would love to be an extra on this show! I LOVE ALL OF THE ACTORS 🤩

  25. I binged watched like hell!  I just sat through the pain….

  26. I know men today that agree with everything presented in this "fictional" series. Women should be owned and not provided agency.

  27. Please don’t buy Canada Goose Jackets. Watch videos right here on You Tube showing how CG abuses geese.

  28. I like the show. Yet, As a black woman I cannot tell you how frustrating it is for them to speak as if this is not a depiction of the African America female slavery experience. Yet they say "Fiction" & " Taliban"
