Broken Love Shadows – A Poem

Fleeting memory into dark abyss I dwell;
Ah, love, there you be, so coy I forgot. Amongst the carnage of baneful pride and fleshy
carnality. This dark place cannot hide the light within
me, no. Not even hell itself could hide such glow.
Though brilliant, Sinful shadows of mortality
Linger in remand. My heart fell through my seat,
It looked like a red rose with petals drawn in.
Still beating- thanks be to God,- And so I place it back in , where it hurt
me For days, weeks, months, and years.
Till death do us part, and memory cracks open And yolk of love spills out to dry. brokkenstar/2014
