Dopamine by Soumya Thakur| English Poetry| Best Sad Poetry| Best Spoken Word Poetry

for last time that i remember I know it was somewhere there maybe hidden inside our crossed fingers or to say it prevailed everywhere it used to sit with us on those benches smiled teasingly on our long walks suddenly eloped on those first kisses wanting more of it on late night talks for all the time that I can see its presence was visible to each and every eye maybe we set it too much free so much that even we also now deny till yesterday it was so much there but took hardly a moment to disappear maybe still waiting on those tinted benches for us to come and share our daily ventures did it got washed away with rainy chlimes or felt neglected on those busy times but if this love was always so mean….. why should’nt I call it just “DOPAMINE”

  14. Hey Saumya. I hope you remember me (scribbles_express)! I have always been a fan of your poetries and I truly appreciate your young talent. The poems you write in urdu/hindi are commendable and I’m sure it reminds all of your Indian followers that Hindi is our first language and not English. I would suggest you to keep writing in urdu. Nothing can replace that feeling of listening to β€œAlfaaz” more than β€œWords”! πŸ™‚

  15. Dopamine it is. Much injurious to health, but, well… There you are! You can't stop… Not now, not then, nor ever.
