Global Warming for Kids | #aumsum

Global Warming. Carbon dioxide. Methane. Nitrous oxide. We are responsible for greenhouse effect. Smoke from vehicles. Increase in level of carbon dioxide. Smoke from factories. Increase in level of greenhouse gases. Trees absorb carbon dioxide. Maintain carbon dioxide balance in the atmosphere. However, human beings are cutting trees for roads and buildings leading to deforestation. Deforestation. Carbon dioxide balance is not being maintained. Thicker. Layer of greenhouse gases is becoming thicker. The thicker layer of greenhouse gases traps more heat. Greenhouse gases trap heat. Increase in average temperature of earth. Disease Global Warming. The thicker layer of greenhouse gases traps more heat. This result in an increase in average temperature of the earth and the earth becomes hotter and hotter. This is called global warming. If we do not take steps to reduce global warming, it will lead to loss of human lives, plants and animals. Steps to reduce global warming. Plant more trees. Reduce, reuse and recycle. Use less hot water. Turn off electronic devices when not in use. Spread awareness. Come on everybody, let us reduce global warming. The End.

  30. Some scientists say that 99% of icebergs will melt before 2025 if we don't stop this disaster

  31. Ok since trees maintain Co2 levels. What is that level number? 280 ppm? 450 ppm? 1200, 3500? 10.000? I wish it was 1.000, to 1.500. The Earth would be better off.

  32. If youโ€™ve ever seen โ€˜heat wavesโ€™ shimmering off of a hot asphalt road far ahead of you on a long straight highway, then you have seen โ€˜infrared radiationโ€™ in action. Infrared radiation (IR) continually radiates heat away from the surface of the Earth. Nitrogen, oxygen and argon gases of the air do not interfere with the passage of IR; but, large molecules like carbon dioxide, methane and such (greenhouse gases) slow down the escape of IR (heat) out into space. Called the โ€˜greenhouse effectโ€™, itโ€™s like a slowdown on the freeway, with the heat waves getting jammed up โ€” and this causes the air temperatures to rise. This is a natural process. Indeed, if it werenโ€™t for the greenhouse effect, our planet would have always been a frozen ball of ice.ย
