Halloween Poems for Kids: Jack O Lantern, Boo!

Happy Halloween, everybody. This is Susan Salidor and I have another itty-bitty
ditty. This is for Halloween. I’ve been doing it for about a week and it’s
worked well so I want to share it with you. I think it’s empowering for pre-schoolers. It’s called :Jack O’ Lantern, Boo! It goes like this. So, I’m tapping my lap and I ask that children
try to tap along with me. “Jack O’Lantern, Jack O’Lantern what a spooky
sight. Jack O’Lantern, Jack O’Lantern glowing in
the night. Jack O’Lantern, Jack O’Lantern scaring me
and you. Jack O’Lantern, Jack O”Lantern we will scare
you, too. Boo!” That’s the whole thing. Have fun with it.

  1. I'm gonna try this tomorrow with my Turning Three's class – as the perfect follow-up to my "Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Orange Pumpkin" flannelboard song! Thank you yet again for sharing, Susan! You are brilliant!
