in text citation using EndNote – single author two works

to add an in-text citation of a single author with two words type in the author's surname in the text and place the cursor where you would like the citations to appear then go to your EndNote library select the citations you'd like to insert on a Mac to select two different citations you use your can command keys command click to highlight them insert the citations and to change the format so only the years appear you hover over the citation right click or control click and select edit citations more and change the default format to exclude the author and you do that for both citations so now in the text you can just see the years listed in the citation
