July 2015’s Rhyme of the Month: “Bunny Hokey Pokey”

Welcome to the Enoch Pratt Free Library State Library Resource Center’s Handy Dandy Rhymes. The rhyme of the month is “The Bunny Hokey Pokey.” Now actually you can do the hokey pokey with any animal. It can be the black cat hokey pokey for Halloween or the Reindeer hokey pokey at holiday time. We are going to do the bunny one today. You put your bunny ears in, you put your bunny ears out. You put your bunny ears in, and you shake them all about. You do the Bunny Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around. That’s what it’s all about [clapping]. You put your bunny whiskers in, you put your bunny whiskers out. You put your bunny whiskers in, and you shake them all about. You do the Bunny Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around. That’s what it’s all about [clapping]. You put your bunny paws in, you put your bunny paws out. You put your bunny paws in, and you shake them all about. You do the Bunny Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around. That’s what it’s all about [clapping]. You put your bunny tail in, you put your bunny tail out. You put your bunny tail in, and you shake it all about. You do the Bunny Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around. That’s what it’s all about [clapping]. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
