June 2013’s Rhyme of the Month “Three Little Monkeys”

Welcome to the Enoch Pratt Free Library State Library Resource Center’s Handy Dandy Rhymes. The rhyme of the month is “Three Little Monkeys.” [singing] Three little monkeys swinging in a tree Teasing Mr. Alligator “Can’t catch me!” Along comes Mr. Alligator, sneaky as can be And snap, one monkey out of the tree. Two little monkeys swinging in a tree teasing Mr. Alligator “Can’t catch me!” Along comes Mr. Alligator, sneaky as can be and snap, one monkey out of the tree. One little monkey swinging in the tree Teasing Mr. Alligator “Can’t catch me!” Along comes Mr. Alligator, sneaky as can be and snap, that monkey out of the tree. Now we don’t need puppets to do that, you can easily use your fingers. So let’s try that one again with our fingers.
