  1. Leonard.
The music that you left to us is the most perfect, Nobel, amazing and immortal that a human can left after him in this world.
I don't remember a time that I've heard the song and didn't wanted to cry.
    Thanks Leonard.
    Rest in peace.

  2. I am a music junkie..i been playing guitar for 20 years, been to well over 100 concerts-music is my life.
    It's the Universal language
    It's how nature speaks
    Birds singing
    Wolves howling
    Waves sloshing onto the shore
    Everything is vibration
I would like to think of myself
As a well rounded musical connesour
    With excellent taste in music
And this, my friends, is my favorite song.
A deep and somber spiritual meditation
    On love and loss
And the insanity of it all
"I remember when i moved in you
    And the holy dove
    She was moving to
    And every breath we drew
    Was HALLELUJAH..
    And even tho
    It all went wrong
I'll stand before the God of song
    With nothing on my tongue
    But hallelujah"

    Gets me everytime

    Mr. Cohen
You were the finest vintage wine
    Of rock n roll
    You just got better
    As you aged

  3. This letter is inspired by King David's request for forgiveness from God for his adultery with Batseba.

  4. "HALLELUJAH"
means "People, praise Jehovah", a phrase from the Hebrew language in the Bible & encourages listeners to worship Jehovah.

  5. Ele morreu?

  6. I've been trying to find a cover of this song with all seven verses for ages!!!!

  7. One day I dedicated this song at night, candles and praying for the animals, nature and humans are dying for human insane actions. God! With this song you touch the heaven!

  8. Well gosh darn wasn't that great. I have watched this video many times, but this time I paid attention to the expressions and motions of all the people in the video and how their voices and movements harmonize. My appreciation of this song and the video itself went from wonderful to, well – more wonderful.

  9. was this the same as what was used in the official recorded version?

  10. He really put feeling into the song it is the best rendition. RIP👍🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺

  11. This dude is literally just talking, he can't sing at all😭😭🤣. That organist tho🔥🔥

  12. I heard this was played in the aftermath of the shootings in Dayton this week. Sobbed all the way through it.

  13. Want to know what gets to me? That organ, the back-up singers…..and THAT voice. Makes me cry everytime. ♥️

  14. I was privileged to have worked at two of his concerts. I wasnt a fan before but I became one after. His concerts were fantastic. I miss seeing him singing actually his songs live on forever….

  15. Now, I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
    The baffled king composing hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
    Hallelujah
You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
    The holy…

  21. (Hallelujah*)

Now I've heard there was a secret chord

That David played, and it pleased the Lord

But you don't really care for music, do you ?

    It goes like this

    Ça faisait comme ça,

    The fourth, the fifth

    La quarte, la quinte

The minor fall, the major lift

    The baffled king composing Hallelujah

    Le roi perplexe composant Alléluia

    Hallelujah…

Your faith was strong but you needed proof

You saw her bathing on the roof

Tu l'as vue se baigner sur le toit

Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you

    She tied you

    Elle t'a attaché

    To a kitchen chair

    à une chaise de cuisine

She broke your throne, and she cut your hair

And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah

    Hallelujah…

You say I took the name in vain

I don't even know the name

But if I did, well really, what's it to you ?

    There's a blaze of light

Il y a un éclat de lumière

    In every word

    Dans chaque mot

It doesn't matter which you heard

    Qu'importe que tu entendes

The holy or the broken Hallelujah

Le saint Alléluia ou le brisé

    Hallelujah…

I did my best, it wasn't much

I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch

I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you

    And even though

    Et bien que

    It all went wrong

    Tout ait mal tourné

I'll stand before the Lord of Song

With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

    Avec rien d'autre à mes lèvres qu'Alléluia

    Hallelujah…

    ________
