March 2016’s Rhyme of the Month: “Puppies On The Bus”

Welcome to the Enoch Pratt Free Library State Library Resource Center’s Handy Dandy Rhymes. The rhyme of the month is “The Puppies on the Bus.” It’s sung to the tune of The Wheels on the Bus and it’s based on the story The Seals on the Bus. It’s really neat because you can do this with any type of animals you want. Zoo animals if you are planning a trip to the zoo. Farm animals, or in my case I’m doing pets. And that’s why it’s called “The Puppies on the Bus.” The puppies on the bus go Ruff! Ruff! Ruff!, Ruff! Ruff! Ruff!, Ruff! Ruff! Ruff! The puppies on the bus go Ruff! Ruff! Ruff!, all through the town. And the snakes on the bus go Hiss Hiss Hiss, Hiss Hiss Hiss, Hiss Hiss Hiss. The snakes on the bus go Hiss Hiss Hiss, all through the town. And the bunnies on the bus go Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle, Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle, Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle. The bunnies on the bus go Wiggle Wiggle Wiggle, all through the town. And the kitties on the bus go Meow Meow Meow, Meow Meow Meow, Meow Meow Meow. The kitties on the bus go Meow Meow Meow, all through the town. And the skunks on the bus go Tsst Tsst Tsst, Tsst Tsst Tsst, Tsst Tsst Tsst. The skunks on the bus go Tsst Tsst Tsst, all through the town. So the people on the bus go Help Help Help, Help Help Help, Help Help Help. The people on the bus go Help Help Help, all through the town. Thank you for watching and have a great day.
