  1. Surely, the presenter should be aware (he sounds English) that it is extraordinarily offensive to refer to the war that started in 1968 as a Catholic Protestant conflict. It was a conflict of Irish Republicans who desired a united Ireland in conflict with Unionists who wanted to maintain the link with GB (who also wanted to maintain a sectarian state controlled by bigots who gerrymandered, discriminated against nationalists, enjoyed unconditional support from London and had their own private Gestapo to pulverize and brutalize the Nationalist community). If you are English, as it sounds, you are either ghastly uninformed or a bigot.
