22 thoughts on “"Origin" author Dan Brown on reconciling God and artificial intelligence

  1. Dan Brown and JK Rowling both have made me love reading and writing

  2. I admire Dan Brown but I don't read authors who don't read fiction themselves. Daniel Silva is another one who doesn't read.

  3. Dan Brown is my favourite author. I am still reading Origin and I find it so so interesting. I have strong Catholic belief and faith and at the same time I teach Science. I hate to compare Faith with Science but this book made me realized how equal they are.

  4. Science can't explain everything. When God decides it's time to act, than on that day, science will not have answers for the things to come. What scientists know and understand is insignificant to an eternal God.

I've seen Jesus Christ and He's the image of the invisible God. He knows the end from the beginning, nothing is new to Him. He knows all things way beyond human science and limited understanding.

Seek Him with all your heart until you find Him, if your willing. He looks nothing like the famous pictures. And He's coming back soon to judge the world. Now is the time to repent and prepare for the return of the King.

It is not His will that any perish but all repent to receive eternal life. I'm in oneness with His will. I wish to see many of you changed into the image of Christ and all for His Glory.

If your willing, seek Him with patience and persistence. He will speak to you at His time. Once He speaks to you obey Him until the end, and even unto death, your reward will be with Him in heaven.

Take care and God bless you

  5. The book origin is amazing . A complete mixture of modern art, science and god .

  6. Dan should be acquainted with Moravec's paradox in AI. The embodiment of inteligence is the crux of all problems that AI faces to become a Real AI. The paradox is one of the best examples of how biological evolution brings about natural dexterity that cannot be so easily captured by the state of the art AI.

  7. there are no simple lifeforms and DNA is to complex to ever have originated without the help of an intelligent creator !
    JW.ORG go there :https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/origin-of-life-5-questions/

  8. நான் விரும்பி வாசிக்கும் படைப்புகளை கொடுக்கும் சிறந்த எழுத்தாளர்….!!!!!! நன்றி..திரு. பிரௌவன்….

  9. Mann the book Origin is really amazing…….but mann i wish Rober Langdon got the girl at last, for me it was a big loose end……. It is really frustrating cause i always wish Dan Browns books to end that way.

  10. Great book but coming to the end a great dissapointment ! The rest buy the book lmfao

  11. Inferno is damn joke and I like Dan.
BUT this time he brought NOTHING to the table. NOTHING.
He must have lost every since of reality left inside him.
Like people didn't already knew about evolution, come on. It's OLD news. Everyone knows about evolution.
    Everybody knows about A.I.
He has nothing this time, not even close.
He says he spent years researching the book yet couldn't come up with anything people didn't already know.
I wonder if Dan has lost his ability to shock his readers, sure seems like it.

  12. Dan Brown has stated that he doesn’t read fiction himself. But he has yet to admit that he has read A LOT of Manly P. Hall. Manly gave over 8,000 lectures and wrote 150 books. He was a historian of the ancient mysteries and the occult. And was highly esteemed by the Freemasons and by presidents; such Franklin Roosevelt.

  13. i feel like Tom Cruise should be Robert Langdon, i saw the da vinci code and was sorely disappointed in it.

  14. Dan Brown is my neighbor. Great guy. Can't wait to see his new movie.
