Palak Pakora Recipe | Spinach Fritters

Welcome to Today we will amke palak pakoras. The Palak Pakoras are very delicious to be eaten at the time of tea. You can serve it immediately to a guest since not much time is required to prepare these. These can also be served as appetizers. The Palak Pakoras can be prepared in two ways. These can be prepared by the whole Palak leaf or by the cut Palak. Let us see what are the ingredients we require to prepare Palak Pakoras. Spinach leaves – 20 to 25 leaves. Besan – 1 cup. Rice flour – 2 tbsp. Finely chopped green chilly – 1. Ajwain (Carom seeds) – less than ¼ tsp. Salt – ¼ tsp. Red chilly powder – ¼ tsp. Oil to fry Pakoras. We will wash the leaves properly first to prepare the Pakoras. Let us prepare the paste of Besan now. Mix water in Besan and beat it till the time it becomes smooth. Also, mix rice flour in it. The rice flour is mixed to make the Pakoras smooth. We have made a smooth paste of Besan. We have made a smooth paste of Besan. Now, we will add red chilly powder, salt and Ajwain in it. Crush the Ajwain seeds before adding it in the paste. add green chilly also. Mix all the ingredients nicely for 3-4 minutes. Leave the Besan aside for 10 minutes for fermentation. Cut the spinach leaves in the meantime. We will prepare the Pakoras in both the ways. take 7-8 palak leaves. We will finely chop the rest of the leaves of Palak. Turn on the burner and heat the oil. Mix Besan for 3-4 minutes again. The oil is also heated now. If one drop is added and it comes on the surface after cooking it. Dip the spinach leaves in Besan and fry them in oil. Fry them till these turn brown from both the sides. These Pakoras have been cooked from both the sides and we will take them out. Now, mix the chopped Palak leaves in Besan. Make a circular or long shape of these leaves and put them in oil to fry them. Turn their sides when these turn brown. We should fry Palak Pakoras in hot oil since these Pakoras absorb a lot of oil when oil is not hot. These Pakoras have turned brown and we will take them out. The delicious, crispy, Palak Pakoras are ready. We should pay a little attention while preparing these Pakoras. The paste of Besan for the Pakoras should be made smooth. Keep the paste for 10 minutes, so that it ferments well. The oil to fry Pakoras should be heated properly. Serve these Pakoras with Dhania Chutney or tomato sauce.
