  1. Thousand Thanks to James for downloading such great work.
I have lived and grown in Balkh and have paid many visits to his father Madrassa where Rumi started his first lessons. You Can't believe how enjoyable it would be when you find yourself in such ruined but precious place. Anytime I visited there I was sober but felt drunk, I was sad but earned joy, I was tired but found comfort. There was no sign of him but you could felt him next to you. I point is to those who claim that Rumi only and only belongs to them and them, wakeup! It is dawn, the night you went to bed everything changed so rapidly, even Rumi's identity, now he belongs to the universe and way behind your narrow thoughts. I would never dare to say Jalaaludeen belongs to Balkh because he has more lovers where else than Balkh. He is not Balkhi, nor Rumi and for sure not Iranian but, he belongs to the world and those who understand the real meaning of LOVE. As he himself says " Not Christian or Jew or
    Muslim, not Hindu,
    Buddhist, Sufi, or Zen.
    Not any religion
    or cultural system. I am
    not from the east
    or the west, not
out of the ocean or up
    from the ground, not
    natural or ethereal, not
    composed of elements at all.
    I do not exist,
am not an entity in this
    world or the next,
    did not descend from
    Adam and Eve or any
    origin story. My place
    the placeless, a trace
    of the traceless.
    Neither body or soul.
    I belong to the beloved,
    have seen the two
    worlds as one and
    that one
    call to and know,
    first, last, outer, inner,
    only that breath breathing
    human
    being."
sufi mystic – jelaluddin rumi – 13th century
I have enjoyed a thousand times from his pomes in Farsi and today I enjoyed in English as well. Long live humanity!

  2. " I will soothe you and heal you,
    I will bring you roses.
I too have been covered with thorns."

Today and every day I am a Muslim, I am a Christian, I am a Buddhist and a Hindu. I am a Taoist. I am all and yet I am utterly.. utterly… nothing.
I am but the merest singular cell in the great heart of God. My beautiful loving Creator.
